Frye Claims 2nd Cowpatty Win

HARRISBURG, AR. Bill Frye and the 66 team claimed their 2nd consecutive Cowpatty 50 title after a strong performance that allowed them to claim the $7,000 payday. Frye, the 2002 event winner, opted out of the famed Eldora World 100 to defend his Harrisburg, AR, title and he did so in true championship form. Frye will compete in the remaining handful of MARS events as he and fellow Petroff-backed driver Terry Phillips are in a dead heat for the championship crown. Will Phillips net his 2nd MARS title to complement his 2000 crown or will Frye capture his 3rd in the series' fifth year?
